So, what is everyone up to this Valentine’s week??
Well, talking about me then, I’m just curled up inside my quilt, with a cup of coffee in one hand and a book by Erich Segal in another, the book named “Love Story”.
Love means never having to say you’re sorry!
The book is based on two young teenagers madly in love with each other but from two entirely different worlds. He is Oliver Barrett IV a rich brat from a WASP family on his way to Harvard degree and a career in law. She is Jennifer Cavilleri, a wisecracking working-class beauty studying music at Radcliffe. And the magic of the book is contained in the essence when two opposites attract each other and the spark it creates.
Totally flattered by the writing style of the author and the way it has portrayed love in a very assorted manner. A novel which is a perfect blend of humor and romance, infused with a lot of sentiments and emotions. A love story that can never be forget.
Talking about the English part of the book, which is quite good and above average read. The concept of the story could have been better, the thing that I was disappointed was that, the same romantic teenage love story with no new addition, but with some good characters in it as well.
Succinctly, one time read, having both its negative and positive aspects and one won’t fail on having a gala time while reading this book over a cup of coffee this valentine. Hopefully, everyone is enjoying their week.
